So you’ve got the gear and you take great images, now people want pay you for it and you have way too many questions. Do you have to charge sales tax? Do you really need a contract? How do you open a business account? Where can you get a website? What’s the best way to market? And how much do I charge!?!? What’s a photographer to do? Well, if you don’t want to go back to school and get an MBA you might want to take our workshop.
This workshop is geared to new and emerging studios. If you’re just getting started in the business, or moving from part- to full-time, and are seeking guidance in essential business and marketing skills, this is the Workshop for you.
Day One is dedicated to the business and financial aspects of setting up a photography studio including business structure, pricing and taxes. The second day focuses on the marketing and selling, showing you step-by-step techniques and tips on how to attract clients and how to maximize sales opportunities. Over the two days we will cover:
