This little sweetheart was such a good model! She settled into a milk coma with barely a fuss so that we could get going with her very first photoshoot. Tori brought her own teddy bear along for the ride and we took tons of my very favorite type of newborn pictures – ones that show off plenty of creamy perfect baby skin! Welcome to the world Tori!

I’ve posted about custom graduation announcements before – they’re one of my most popular senior products and since they are designed according to each client’s unique tastes the options are truly endless. There is nothing more precious than a sleeping newborn Lately, my newborns have been really sleepy! Which is great for photographers. Britton was no exception, he slept pretty much the entire session……only waking up to give us a quick smile and went right back to sleep. Mom Krista brought him to the studio that morning and we had some fun playing with props! Some were personal to the family and we had fun incorporating them into the photographs. With all his cowboy and Aggie gear I think we will see Britton at the Rodeo before long!

We had a blast this weekend at Brownwood High School’s Project Graduation bash. With tons of prizes, games, and food it was an epic night. Since our Photo Booth is always a hit at parties and wedding receptions we decided to set it up a Project Graduation to give the Class of 2011 some hilarious memories, here are the results.

When the days turn warm and the trees turn green what could be better than an outdoor portrait session? I had the pleasure of photographing the Thornberry kids in their Easter best out at their ranch. The pink princess dresses and khakis against the bright green grass made the perfect spring portraits! And of course if you are wearing a pretty pink princess dress you absolutely must tackle your brother and wrestle in the grass. Isn’t that what all princesses do?

A couple of weeks ago I went out to Rough Creek Lodge to shoot Bryson’s Mom’s wedding and while we were there I did his senior portraits too. Rough Creek has tons of great backgrounds available, especially if you like a casual country look. We took full advantage of the sprawling fields, boat dock, and scenery and of course had to fit in a a few pictures of Bryson’s truck too.
