I shot a fabulous family session recently with two awesome sisters Aimee and Ashleigh! They wanted to surprise their family with a personal and thoughtful Christmas gift they would really treasure and decided to book their first joint portrait session since middle school. Aimee and Ashleigh want some fun colorful images that really showed their personalities and their close relationship. Congratulations girls – I think you accomplished your goal of making your family cry happy tears this Christmas!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Gallion family last week while they were vesting from San Antonio. Nicole and Howard have 6 kids including 16 month old quadruplets! I hadn’t seen the little ones since I shot their newborn portraits last year. The kids were little troopers as we made our way around downtown Brownwood finding some great backgrounds. Through the magic of Photoshop we were even able to have green grass in the middle of a drought! It was great to see the whole family and have the opportunity to give them some awesome photos before Howard goes back to Afghanistan. Enjoy!

When the days turn warm and the trees turn green what could be better than an outdoor portrait session? I had the pleasure of photographing the Thornberry kids in their Easter best out at their ranch. The pink princess dresses and khakis against the bright green grass made the perfect spring portraits! And of course if you are wearing a pretty pink princess dress you absolutely must tackle your brother and wrestle in the grass. Isn’t that what all princesses do?

I had the pleasure recently of shooting family portraits for the National Guard at their deployment dinner in the Brownwood Colosseum. Here are just a few.

I’ve known the Martin family for several years and have had the joy of photographing their family before. I had the chance to shoot Billy, Vanessa, Will, and Kinley once more this fall before they moved to San Angelo. I’m so glad I got to spend the morning with this wonderful family before they left – they will be greatly missed!

It’s family portrait time! I did some for the Connelly family awhile back and they turned out great! I shot Emma and Shuanna along with their cousin Regan for my Tutus and Tea Party session and it was such great fun I was happy to have them back. This time we did a family/maternity session because mom Jennifer is expecting a new sister little Guyer Grae.

Tis the season for holiday greetings, so get your Christmas cards while they’re hot! Whether you are a previous client wanting to use pictures from earlier in the year or if you need to schedule a new portrait session if you place your order by December 20th we can guarantee Christmas delivery. We’ve extended our Christmas order deadline to accommodate all you procrastinators – like me, I haven’t even taken my family portraits yet! It always sneaks up on me, you know what they say about the cobbler’s children….
All of our cards are large 5×7 cards print on thick photo card stock with a shimmery pearl or lovely textured linen finish. One side always features a large single image so that your reciepiants can frame it after the holidays if they choose. You can choose from a 2 sided postcard style or a 4 sided folded style. We have many predesigned cards that you can tweak the colors, fonts, and text to make it your own or have us make a card design from scratch. So here are two examples of customer Christmas cards from this year:
