First birthdays are really special milestones. One minute you are holding a tiny fragile newborn in your arms and then they just sit up, scoot off your lap, and start running around every where! I have tried to slow down time for Makenna just a little this past year by photographing her when she was 3 months and again at 6 months. Little Makenna turned one just a few days before her first birthday session and I was happy to see their family again! Thank you to Vanessa, Doug, and their little girl for letting us be a part of your daughter’s first year. Happy first birthday!
This is sweet little Zoe – and everyone who has met her says she is hands down the best baby they have ever been around! She was that way as a newborn too (See the session here) Zoe brought her sock monkey hat again, which I was super excited about. She’s just the cutest sock monkey baby ever! Here are a few of my faves…
Luke came to us when he was just 2 weeks old and he already had plenty of personality and smiles to spread around. He brought his two older sisters with him who I’m sure will spoil him rotten! I just couldn’t help but fall in love with this cute little cowboy, and now its your turn… enjoy
This little sweetheart was such a good model! She settled into a milk coma with barely a fuss so that we could get going with her very first photoshoot. Tori brought her own teddy bear along for the ride and we took tons of my very favorite type of newborn pictures – ones that show off plenty of creamy perfect baby skin! Welcome to the world Tori!
There is nothing more precious than a sleeping newborn Lately, my newborns have been really sleepy! Which is great for photographers. Britton was no exception, he slept pretty much the entire session……only waking up to give us a quick smile and went right back to sleep. Mom Krista brought him to the studio that morning and we had some fun playing with props! Some were personal to the family and we had fun incorporating them into the photographs. With all his cowboy and Aggie gear I think we will see Britton at the Rodeo before long!
I’m so excited to share little Makenna’s pictures from her 3 month baby session. MaKenna is part of our new Baby Plan so there will be many more images of her to come. I just love photographing little ones as they grow! The images are truly priceless.
Ok, here it is finally! This little sweetheart was an absolute angel to photograph. Definitely one of my easiest newborns to date. Baby Zoe did have a little fiest in her though. She is definitely not a fan of lacy clothes lol! She was a tiny little thing and slept for almost all of the shoot. Zoe even gave us some sweet sleepy smiles. I can’t wait to shoot the rest of Zoe’s first year sessions, it’s so fun to watch little ones grow!

Remy had his one year “smash the cake” session with us in the studio. I usually despise food on the face pictures, but when you’re talking cake and babies, it’s a perfect combination. Remy was hysterical. I wanted a picture of him just sitting next to the cake, but he dived right in. As you can see by the photos here, he did quite a good job at smashing his cake.
Kim is a professional cake maker/decorator and she made his adorable cake. She works at Twisted Sisters on Austin Ave just a few blocks from our studio, and also does AMAZING wedding cakes as well.
