Congratulations 2011-2012 brides!
This is the second year we’ve participated in bridal shows in Abilene Texas and we’ve had a great time with them. Each show presents something unique and special. We love meeting new vendors, seeing some of our old vendor friends and of course talking to all the brides to be!
We had two booths at the Total Bridal Show this past weekend so we decided to try something different with half the space and offer a little taste of our boothless Photo Booth that has become so popular at wedding receptions. We had no idea how much fun it would be capturing people on the fly who stopped by our booth. And, for those of you who had a “bad hair day” and didn’t want to venture in front of the camera – we completely understand! That’s why we’re photographers – to stay out of the pictures! Here’s a look at some of the fun from yesterday….

We had a fabulous day at the West Texas Bridal Showcase in San Angelo. We’ve never done a bridal fair in San Angelo but I am glad that we did this show because we booked some incredibly fun and unique weddings and got the chance to meet a lot of really cool people! Plus I always love meeting some new vendors and seeing some of my favorite vendor friends.
Kyle gets the most credit for helping me load and construct this beast. Our booth seems to grow a little with each show and now that I’ve had it for 2 years it takes a small trailer to haul it! I am really proud of how it turned out and all the hard work that we put into it. How many people does it take to build a booth that actually stands on its own and looks decent? Luckily just one artist and engineer.

We had an awesome time at the Total Bridal Show this past Sunday in Abilene. With a wide variety of vendors, a fashion show, lots of brides to be, and a cake dive to award door prizes it was really one of the better wedding shows I’ve been to. We talked to a lot of brides and they will be hearing from us soon about the winner of our drawing. We will definately be back for the fall show – especially since we won “Best Booth” in the vendor contest!
I had no idea how much fun a bridal show could be until yesterday, when we exhibited for the first time at the Total Bridal Show at the Civic Center in Abilene. I’ve been to a lot of bridal shows, as both a bride and a photographer. This one is my new favorite, a select showcase of Abilene’s most creative vendors. The organizers at Total Bridal Show outdid themselves in this first year of the summer show. If you don’t know about Total Bridal Show, it’s an awesome resource where brides and grooms can see the work of multiple vendors in the same category, such as photographers, florists, planners, etc. You save on gas and you reduce your stress!
Thanks to all the brides and their loved ones who took the time to visit with us and sit on our little couch out of the traffic. We’re following up with all of you today and eager to see how we can help you with your wedding plans.

Our Boudoir products were a big hit with brides and non-brides alike!
We have some gorgeous new things we showed off at Total Bridal Show. We brought out our buttery soft leather wedding albums complete with brushed aluminum cameos on the cover. We also have gorgeous guestbooks to display your engagement photos along with sweet notes from your guests. With these custom disgned books you will actually look at your guestbook after the wedding!
We also brought along our newest product offering – Wedding Collages. We’ve had request for an alternative to albums so we came up with these 30×30 canvas prints. We have two designs one that displays 32 images and one that displays 48 images, along with frame side text your options are endless.
