Hi I’m Kim Hurt,

I got my first real camera (a Canon AE -1) for my 10^th birthday, it was a gift from my Dad. He was a photographer and so was my Grandfather – together they taught me just about everything I know about photography. My 4 years of art school taught me the importance of creativity, originality, and meaning behind an image. And when my husband Kyle was deployed to Iraq I learned that a wedding album full of beautiful professional images could become one’s most treasured possession. Our photographer did more than just document our day, he gave us art that featured us and told our story. When Kyle returned from Iraq I decided to take my art, design, and photographic experience and share with other people the gift that had been given to me. So here I am nearly 3 years later – a wife, a mother, an artist, a welder, and a photographer offering uncommon photographic art to awesome people everywhere!
