Here is my Funny Photo entry which won second place at the Brownwood Reunion Photo Contest. I had the idea for this image and thought it would turn out great with just a little bit of planning. It took about an hour and half to set up and shoot all the images for the final composite. It ended up taking 11 separate images layered together in Photoshop to create the final image.

I expected the image of Archer to take the longest, toddlers are notoriously difficult to photograph but he was quite cooperative. It ended up being the beer spray that took multiple take to capture properly, that and the grill flame took considerably more lighter fluid to reach an appropriate height than I had originally estimated.

I know it is just a picture of a mound of dirt, but it symbolizes a lot for Brown County. Bruner Auto Group is expanding its footprint and building a new auto dealership complex in Early right across from Heartland Mall. What does that mean for all of us? Brown County is getting a big city sized dealership!

My husband worked at Bruner for 4 years, and everyone in my family has purchased their vehicles from Bruner. We love this company and all the people who work there. I was honored to be asked to photograph the groundbreaking, and I’m excited to see the new building and lot once it is finished. Congratulations Bruner!

Because most moms spend all their time behind the camera instead of in front of it they usually under represented in family photographs. Knowing this my local MOPS group asked if I would be willing to take some Mommy Glam Shots and I jumped at the chance. It was nice to be able to give these wonderful ladies a nice image of themselves looking their best. No kids, no husbands, just a wonderful reflection of the beautiful woman God made them to be.
