Hello All! I’m happy to announce that tomorrow we will be manning our display at Heartland Mall in honor of their 30th anniversary celebration! We’ll be out there at the main entrance from 1pm-4pm Saturday the 30th with wide array of new products to show off. This is your chance to ask us any question you may have about portraits, weddings or boudoir or flip through our beautiful sample albums. We’ll also be holding a drawing for a free family portrait session as well as extending our senior portrait sale, so come by and see us!

Miss F was such a blast to work with! She has an incredible sense of humor and was such an absolute natural model! I was thrilled, since she is gorgeous and has such a great camera presence. It really allowed us to create some beautiful images together – which I know her husband is sure to adore!
Miss F decided on a boudoir session as a gift for her husband on their 1st anniversary, because as everyone knows your 1st anniversary gift is traditionally paper. (I think he’ll like this better than stationary)

We’ve been excited about getting this wedding up on the blog for a long time. Melissa and Brian are an awesome couple, and we were honored to be a part of such a special day. It started out with a bit of a set back – it poured down rain the night before and was misting all morning. Melissa and Brian had planned an outdoor ceremony at Brennan Vineyards and the ground was much too wet. But being such a cool couple they rolled with the punches and made a last minute switch of the ceremony to the First Methodist Church and everything went smashingly! As a bonus the church has incredible stained glass windows we could use for portraits.

The girls had to have a little fun since the boys had a stocked cooler in the back of the truck

When I saw these great doors I just had to use them for a dramatic bridal portrait

After the ceremony everyone headed back over to Brennan Vineyards for the reception with awesome music provided by Justin Cash and his band.

I just took some pictures of one of our super sexy boudoir products – the Pin-up Girl Calendar! The Pin-up Girl Calendar is 10×10 inches of beautiful, professionally printed glossy goodness. It holds 13 of your boudoir images and can be customized with special dates. And you don’t have to wait until January to give it, you can start the calendar any month you choose. The best part is after the year is over you have 13 awesome images you can take out and frame!
You can add a special message or title to the cover

You can hang it on the wall just like a traditional calendar

The calendar has large date blocks so you can actually write in them and use the calendar

Thick pages make it super sturdy

Melissa & Brian are finally married. So it’s safe for me to finally reveal some of Melissa’s gorgeous Bridal Portraits from her shoot at picturesque Brennan Vineyards. I posted some of their really cool Engagement Portraits here. But I just couldn’t post any with Melissa’s dress until now for fear of Brian “snooping” around to get a peek at her dress! Just kidding…Brian would never do that.
Melissa wanted to do her Bridal Session at Brennan Vineyards (the same location as her reception) because there are just too many beautiful spots to take pictures there. Who wouldn’t want to have their portraits done at a beautiful rustic vineyard?

I am IN LOVE with the new sample album I received the other day. This album was necessary for a few different reasons: 1) I was drooling over the new 2010 eco materials my album company recently released, 2) I needed a sample portrait album to showcase my more avant-garde design layouts , and 3) I wanted to try one of their non-flushmount products–the linear-bound coffee table book. I could not be happier with this book, it’s a wonderful lower cost option for those who prefer a lighter weight book than the flush-mount albums.
The fabulous lime green snakeskin cover with an off center skinny brushed aluminum cameo!

You can still get spine imprinting in silver, gold or black

Hand-bound yumminess

The pages don’t lay completely flat but they come very close

The pages are thinner which makes the book lighter weight than a flushmount but still sturdy

The color reproduction is fantastic!

Actually, I was a bit surprised (pleasantly!) by the pages. I was expecting the linear-bound pages to be much more flimsy than the flushmount pages, but they are still very sturdy and shiny.

The texture of the cover is delicious- you really must see it in person!
